Cinema lovers and fans will get to watch late legendary actor Rishi Kapoor one last time, spelling his magic on the screen in the upcoming film ‘Sharmaji Namkeen. Much to everyone’s delight, the makers have released the much-awaited trailer of the film and it has made everyone emotional. Rishi as a retired widower, who finds cooking as an escape from his loneliness post-retirement, looks very promising. His brilliant performance in the trailer has left everyone mighty impressed. 

Amazon Prime video shared the trailer on their Instagram account and wrote, “one legend embracing us with warmth, another taking us through, Sharmaji’s story-of life, love,and laughter is surely the one to take away your blues!#SharmajiNamkeenOnPrime, march 31.” Rishi’s last film promises to be a bittersweet and wholesome affair as it narrates a story of self-realization and discovery of a retired widower who takes up cooking to keep his loneliness at bay. Sharmaji Namkeen features both Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal in the role of Sharmaji. The parts that were left to be shot after Rishi’s tragic death in 2020, were later completed by Paresh Rawal. The family entertainer also stars Juhi Chawla, Satish Kaushik, Isha Talwar, and others. It will release on Amazon Prime Video on March 31. 2022.
